An organiser lists a property with a target amount and minimum contribution. Members pledge their share. Progress bar tracks funding. When the target is hit, all members proceed with a conveyancer.

Companies and investors browse and connect for free — the platform never holds your money; all payments happen directly bank-to-bank. Secretary plans are prepaid monthly by EFT (bank transfer) — nothing renews automatically, so there's no lock-in: stop any time by simply not renewing.

Does PretoriaRegister ever hold my money?
No — PretoriaRegister is a connector only. All payments (EFT, investment pledges) happen directly bank-to-bank between the parties. This keeps the platform outside FSCA/FAIS licensing.
How much does it cost to list a company or property?
Browsing and listing on the Business and Property Marketplaces is free. Company secretaries pay a monthly subscription (R299–R1,199, see above) to manage certificates for multiple client companies.
How does tokenization work?
A business or property owner can optionally tokenize their asset into fractional shares (ZAR-priced); investors pledge via EFT and upload proof of payment for the owner to confirm.
What is a Distressed Rescue or Collective Buy listing?
Distressed Rescue helps homeowners facing mortgage auction connect with investors before the auction date. Collective Buy is a stokvel-style pool where a group of investors jointly fund a purchase.
